As a charter member of the Cecil County Historic District Commission, I have served on the panel since it was created in 1999.\u00a0 As my current term expires this month, <\/a>I was just notified that the county executive reappointed me to serve until March 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The commission’s duties include making recommendations on applications for historic designation, to recommend that such designation be rescinded or amended, to issue or deny certificates of appropriateness for designated structures, and to inform and educate the citizens of Cecil County on the historic and architectural heritage of the County. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
